Sunday, January 29 – Course Day 1 

Morning Session, Checklist review or breakout activity between each presentation

  • ​​Introduction – What is a Clean Marina? (30 min, 8:00 AM- 8:30 AM)
  • Present Siting and Design Considerations for New and Expanding Marinas (45 min, 8:30 AM – 9:15 AM)
  • Present Marina Maintenance, Facilities, and Habitat (45 min, 9:45 AM – 10:30 AM) 
  • Present Vessel Maintenance and Repair (45 min, 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM) 

Lunch (Provided) 
Noon - 1:00 PM 

Afternoon Session
1:00 PM - 5:30 PM

  • Present Petroleum Control and Hazardous Waste Management (45 min, 1:00 PM– 1:45 PM)  
  • Present Stormwater Management (45 min, 2:00 PM– 2:45 PM) 
  • Present Sewage and Greywater Management (45 min, 2:45 PM– 3:30 PM) 
  • Present Marina Management and Boater Education/Public Education (45 min, 4:00 PM – 4:45 PM) 
  • Present Aquatic Invasive Species Education and Management (30 min, 4:45 PM– 5:15 PM) 

Monday, January 30 – Course Day 2

  • Present Increasing Resilience – Climate Adaptation & Sea Level Rise (1 hour, 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM) 
  • Present Waste Reduction, Disposal, Recycling, and Management (30 min, 9:30 AM – 10:00 AM)  
  • Next Steps: Clean and Resilient Marina verification (30 min, 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM) 
  • Certificate Ceremony and course evaluations (30 min, 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM)
