Association of Marina Industries offers Golden Opportunity Scholarship
AMI has partnered with Golden Marine Systems LLC to offer the Golden Opportunity Scholarship. This scholarship is intended for marina industry professionals looking to attain the highly coveted Certified Marina Manager (CMM) or Certified Marina Operator (CMO) certification and to be used toward the tuition to the Intermediate Marina Management (IMM) or the Advanced Marina Management (AMM) courses.
“Our intent is to help deserving individuals achieve their career goals by becoming part of an elite group of marina operators who value personal and professional excellence and strive to maintain the highest level of ethical and moral conduct in their commitment to the marina industry,” said Michael Shanley, CMM, Golden Marine Systems President.
“I am excited to partner with Golden Marine Systems and offer this generous scholarship. This opportunity could make the difference for someone who would like to take this training and further their knowledge but does not have the financial support of their marina”, said AMI Training Coordinator, Merritt Alves.
Scholarship applications will be taken January through December of each calendar year with the scholarship recipient announced annually at AMI’s annual conference, the International Marina & Boatyard Conference (IMBC). Duration of the award shall be two calendar years from the date received.
