The Association of Marina Industries, is a non-profit membership organization dedicated exclusively to serving the needs of the marina industry.
For its US members specifically, AMI offers direct access to innovative and cost-saving business solutions, educational services, regularly updated news and publications, and research results. AMI is the independent voice for the marina industry at the national level on all related legislative and regulatory issues.
The Association of Marina Industries Training Institute is the global leader in training and certification for marina professionals. The AMI Training Institute coordinates the only internationally recognized certification program for marina managers, offering a wide range of training and networking opportunities. The Training Institute provides this training exclusively in the US, and by authorized franchise partners outside of the U.S.

The Association of Marina Industries (AMI) Training Institute held its awards ceremony for new Certified Marina Managers (CMMs) and Certified Marina Operators (CMOs) Wednesday, January 15, at the AMI annual International Marina & Boatyard Conference (IMBC) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.This year the institute welcomes eight new Certified Marina Managers (CMMs) and six new Certified Marina Operators (CMOs) to this elite group of marina management professionals. AMI rebrands all divisions to fall under one name and logo
AMI announced a new branding strategy that consolidates its different divisions such as the International Marina & Boatyard Conference (IMBC) and the International Marina Institute (IMI), under one master brand. Effective immediately, IMBC will be known as the AMI Conference & Expo while IMI will be referred to as AMI Training Institute.
