Assistant Dock Master
University Yacht Club is seeking a fulltime Assistant Dock Master.
This position is available immediately. The position is year-round and offers a generous base salary, 401(k), 90% club paid health insurance (health, dental, and vision included). Paid Time Off is also offered with 10 days your first year. A generous holiday fund is also provided before Christmas that is funded by the members. You will be working with our 30+ year Dock Master in the day to day management of the docks, facilities, and other areas as needed. Inland marina experience helpful, but not necessary.

ASSISTANT DOCKMASTER
Reports To: General Manager
Supervises: Dockhands, Fuel Dock/Pier Attendants
Responsibilities
The Assistant Dockmaster is essentially responsible for the operation of all wet services and dock management.
1. Coordinating dockhands and helpers to ensure safe, smooth and effective wet slip docking,
fueling, maintenance and housekeeping.
a. Instill in all Employees safe working practices.
b. Set daily assignments and schedules.
2. Maintain grounds, equipment and buildings in such a manner that they are aesthetically and
operationally at best and within all legal requirements.
a. Identification of maintenance, repair and housekeeping needs; with supervisors,
establish priorities and a time table to schedule work.
