Gail Lowney Alofsin

Gail Lowney Alofsin is a national keynote speaker and workshop leader, author, adjunct professor, and radio show host. She is also the Director of Corporate Partnerships for the Newport International Boat Show.

Gail has worked in the corporate world for three decades – hospitality, meeting planning, concert production, corporate sponsorship sales and marketing with a focus on creating long term relationships and programs yielding impactful and memorable results.

Katheryn Burchett
Executive Vice President, Safe Harbor Marinas

Katheryn serves as Safe Harbor’s Executive Vice President, Western Operations and leads an operations team dedicated to providing exceptional service and memorable experiences to the global boating community. Prior to joining Safe Harbor, she held leadership roles at JCPenney in both strategy and operations. Katheryn is honored to be a part of this wonderful industry and work alongside so many others to care for boaters, develop professional careers, and steward the environment.

Vice President of Marketing, Boats Group

With 20 years of experience in digital marketing and brand management, Courtney has held global marketing leadership positions across Boat Trader, YachtWorld, and boats.com. She's passionate about connecting boat buyers with sellers and is always open to feedback that improves users' experience. Courtney is published in top boating publications and is invited to speak at industry events across the U.S. She holds board positions on several industry associations and has been recognized in Boating Industry’s Women Making Waves and Movers & Shakers programs


 

Michele Goldsmith
Vice President, General Manager, Soundings Trade Only Group

Michele J. Goldsmith is an artist, publisher, marketer, and marine industry leader. Michele's passion is to connect and inform the recreational marine community she serves through the tools of media to promote progress and innovation. She is the vice president and general manager of the Soundings Trade Only group, the leading marine business-to-business multi-media brand, which is part of Active Interest Media. Her marine industry experience includes manufacturing operations, product development, marketing management, and sales management to the OEM, aftermarket, domestic and international sectors. She has served the marine industry on the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) board of directors and its executive board, as chairperson of the NMMA MACD board of directors, on the Grow Boating and NMMA PAC board of directors, and the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) technical board of directors. She is the 2023 recipient of the Darlene Briggs Woman of the Year award.

Michele is a visual thinker and artist who consistently designs and creates. Her artwork has been shown at galleries in the northeast region of the U.S., and she designs many of the marketing campaigns for the brands she manages at Active Interest Media. A former competitive athlete and fitness instructor, Michele leads an active lifestyle. As a global citizen, she sees the value of perspectives from different cultures. She enjoys travel, exploration, learning, being near or on the water, and time with friends and family.

Kathryn Ross is a Regional Director for Suntex Marinas, overseeing a portfolio of 7 diverse marinas along Florida's West Coast including Legendary Marina and Marina Jack. Ross is a Certified Marina Manager, Clean and Resilient Marina Professional, and an AMI Board Member
